Love Without Limits

Paul carried a rare combination of gentleness and resolve. He exuded a kind, steady energy — the sort that made people feel safe without quite knowing why. I loved spending time with Paul, even though my encounters were short and spread wide apart. You could feel his love and kindness from afar. I especially loved hearing stories of how much his kids loved him and how grateful they were for him coming into his life.

What I admire most is the way he and Sherrie met cancer: not with denial or bitterness, but with the same love and steadiness that defined their lives. Even in the face of pain, they remained generous, open, and deeply devoted to the people around them. Paul’s legacy isn’t only in what he accomplished, but in the calm strength and compassion he embodied every day.
